Teaching and learning in term 3
We have been talking about the new year and our targets/ resolutions for the year in assembly and in class. The children and staff have suggested some great ideas. Some of these will be displayed in the hall. We will be re-visiting them regularly to assess our progress towards them.
The children have enjoyed finding out about their new topics which are the following:
Year R- Community Heroes | Year 1 – The Wild thing | Year 2 – Once upon a time… |
The new topic plans outlining what your child will be learning and how you can help at home will come home on Monday. There are many exciting things and opportunities which you can take part in to extend their learning even further. |
Our new room
K.C.C have assessed the new building and confirmed that once access is completed it is ready to be used. We hope that this will be completed within the next week. The School Council will be involved in choosing a name for it and then we will officially open it with the children. It will be used for quiet individual/group sessions as well as a meeting room and an over-flow room for After School Club.
